"Best Weekend! Six of us stayed and we all throughly enjoyed our stay. 15 min walk into the centre. Everything you could possibly think of was available in the House! Each room as a Bathroom and also a downstairs toilet. The one and only problem i didn’t like was the twin beds were terrible, they creaked so much, you just did a little movement and they creaked."

"A super compact studio for two. Although not large it is ideal for two, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Upstairs there's one room with a comfy bed, sofa and TV, a separate bathroom whilst downstairs you have a private entrance, kitchen and a little outdoor private seating area where we sat having our morning coffee. With a parking space right outside the front door it's an ideal place to stay when visiting York"

"The house was what we expected. It was a wonderful place with plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and three children. Easy walk to just about everything. Having shops and a playground close by were big pluses. Jayne and Michelle very good and responsive hosts."

"Cannot fault this place, beautiful house, absolutely immaculate and made you feel at home and had literally everything you could need or want whilst away, home from home.The owners extremely helpful with instructions and codes etc, fab folder with local information including restaurants/bars and bakeries at the top of the road. Also Sainsbury’s Local for anything you forget to bring along is 3 mins walk away. Gorgeous walk into the city centre with lots to see along the way. We enjoyed the nice living room after our full day of visiting and walking. York is a beautiful town to visit so much history and charm, and the York pass was useful."

"Jayne & Michelle's home was the perfect place for us to stay, as 3 work colleagues the house gave us sufficient space individually, as well as the well equipped communal areas of the kitchen and lounge for us to meet up.The location was perfect too, just 5 minutes walk from Bishy road, with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants for our short stay.Would definitely recommend, and would like to stay again if we are back in York."
